POSTS

Our Black Locust wood posts are strong, durable, and perfect for ground contact. Our posts are 3x plus stronger and will outlast chemical-laden pressure-treated wood. Black Locust posts are a fraction of the price of tropical hardwood posts and will perform just as well in any climate. Please note that all of our posts are hardwood posts and therefore all will experience more natural checking and cracking over time than softwood posts. This is merely cosmetic and will not affect the structural integrity of the posts.

We can also custom mill or custom saw specific dimensions in addition to our stocked dimensions. Due to the small tree sizes of our sustainable species, it is difficult to produce a high concentration of long-length boards. Therefore it is necessary to deliver a mix of random-length boards.

Sassafras posts are great for above ground applications and a high-end look for handrail posts.
